My Vision
I believe that regardless of the skill, by helping others you become better at that skill. In this case I think that people that are interested in fly fishing and fly tying should have an accessible way to learn the skills.
Along with independence comes confidence and the passion to continue learning. I can't think of a better way to enjoy the outdoors than fly fishing.

A Story
For as long as I can remember, fly fishing was fishing. I was baptised in the the creeks and rivers of southeastern Ohio and was constantly learning about fly fishing and myself.
I have been around a lot of cool people that I have learned from and hope to share what I have learned with a few more. Come join me.

I am a lifelong fly fisherman and started my first business in 2002. I recently added Independent Angler, LLC to the mix to handle all of the fly fishing and fly tying stuff.

Yep, I have to do a lot behind the scenes. I manage the websites, webstore, Youtube channel, bookkeeping, photography, hosted trips... You get the picture.
Trinity
Intern
Trinity joined the team in 2019. She hails from Athens, Ga. Her responsibilities include Lookout and Dishwasher. She is a hard worker and proved herself on our recent trip to the Boundary Waters.
